"Artist" is a general term that can mean many things. Inevitably, a reader equates artist with painter, but this is a narrow definition. I for one engage in many media and in many representational forms. I am a drawer, a sculptor, a composer, a writer, a photographer, a designer, an inventor. Imaginings are made tangible in various media by the technical skills of the artisan, craftsman, builder, fabricator among which I count myself.
Vision + execution = artist.
